Each project is treated on an individual basis, each commission
is bespoke. All my pieces are original, most are contemporary.
I can also reproduce traditional mouldings and create purpose
made classic cabinets. A fine example would be the reception
desk for the Examination Hall, High Street, Oxford.
I will consider large projects such as the fifty beds I built
for St.Cross College, provided the completion date is realistic.
When necessary I can act as project manager, bringing in assistance
and contracting skilled craftsmen from other trades.
Ideally, I like to visit the client. This allows me to get
some understanding of both their tastes and the final context
for the piece. However, a client may visit my workshop by
appointment
After an initial discussion I will prepare sketches. Once
these are agreed I will prepare working drawings for the customer's
approval. The design will depend upon function, budget and
whatever aesthetic criteria have been agreed.
Price includes design, construction, finish, delivery and
installation.
